Print Exhibition at Thorne-Sagendorff Art Gallery

Thorne-Sagendorff Art Gallery at Keene State College is showing ten prints by Neuman. This includes a rare showing of all eight of the prints in Neuman’s Pedazos del Mundo series, and Ship to Paradise No. 2 and Journal of the Artist.
Neuman’s enduring relationship with Keene State College began when he founded the school’s Art Department in 1972. He was a beloved professor, leading by example with his irreverent humor and by pushing artistic boundaries. His teaching career also included appointments at California College of the Arts, Brown and Harvard Universities, and others. In recognition of his lasting contributions, he retired from Keene State College in 1992 as Professor Emeritus.
Join us for the opening reception on February 5 from 4-6 pm. The exhibition is on view from February 5 through May 15.
You may view all of Neuman’s works in their collection here.
This exhibition of prints is part of the Robert S. Neuman: Centennial Project. This year-long celebration invites audiences to rediscover Neuman’s boundless creativity through exhibitions, public programs, and new scholarship. Thank you for joining us to celebrate an artist whose curiosity and imagination continue to inspire new generations of viewers and makers.
