Join us at Northeast Harbor Library on Wednesday, August 2nd from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for a screening of Pieces of the World: The Art and Life of Robert S. Neuman.

The screening will be followed by a reception and conversation with co-producers Sunne Savage and Christina Godfrey, film editor Eric Stewart, and several individuals for the film.

This film brings together a range of voices to craft a portrait of an artist who used the language of the global modernist movement to explore uniquely personal concerns.

You’re sure to enjoy the film if you’ve ever wondered why the same symbols show up in Neuman’s work over and over, how he melded European and American influences, or how an artist could nearly light a trunk load of paintings on fire.

We hope to see you there! The address for the event is Northeast Harbor Library, 1 Joy Road, Northeast Harbor, ME.
